Reviewed by: Go_ezi | Date: 6th May 2010 via iPhone App | Report this reviewI have just spent the past hour at the Di Bella Coffee Retail in Brisbane. I was greeted by two very vibrant smiling faces when I walked through the doors, with the freshly roasted coffee smell also greeting me.
I have recently purchased a domestic machine and was enquiring about some training. I was very pleased when I asked John (I think his name was) regarding a training course to find that Di Bella Coffee offer the public FREE training sessions on all machine types. You are also able to bring your own machine to the training session if you like. I have never come across a Coffee Company that supply this level of service to their customers.
I would recommend all people visit the Di Bella Coffee Retail in Brisbane and experience what I have had the pleasure of experiencing today.
I am always looking for an excuse to stop at Di Bella. The tasty coffee roasting smells wafting out the door are just the start .. coffee is always top notch, and it is definitely the best source of freshly roasted coffee beans in Brisbane. Highly recommended.

Smooth, full bodied, strong! The service is wonderful, the staff are amazing and so friendly, nothing is ever too hard for them. I love looking at all the mchines they have for sale. This place is heaven, for a coffee lover. =)
Reviewed by: Jimmy Trinket | Date: 31st January 2010 | Report this reviewI found myself over this side of town with some spare time and thought i would stop in for the Ultimate Experience! A big call considering some of my experiences at Seven Seeds, Mecca, First Pour, Campos...
I ordered a short macc which was made from there Golden Bean winning formula, the coffee was watery and had harsh finish, it was clearly under extracted and my cup was dirty and had coffee grounds down the outside. I then ordered a string flat white and sadly i got similar experience before with the short macc, but a the added experience of reheated and overheated milk.
It was a disappointment for a company that touts its self as the fastest growing company in Australia, maybe more time needs to be invested on staff training and making your coffee.
Sorry this trip to Di Bella was the Ultimate Average Experience!
On the Di Bella open day a few months back I was given a detailed tour of the roastery by Phil Di Bella, which was excellent. His passion for coffee and people shone through.
That was the first time I had been there and I have been back a few times since.
The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the coffee.
Their coffee is fantastic! I'm not sure which blend is my favourite!
Nothing like the smell f freshly roasted coffee. Again my usual order of an espresso and picc latte. Espresso had a lovely golden crema and flavour to match. My picc was lovely and creamy is a little on the cool side. All in all a great coffee experience in a great environment.

Reviewed by: crawf | Date: 22nd April 2009 | Report this reviewRoasted on site, Di Bella are really high quality roasters that pull beautiful coffee (shot after shot after shot!). The head office in Bowen Hills is a great choice for caffeine refreshment, with also light food on offer. The seating is comfortable (with a great view of the roaster!), and the service is excellent. These guys know what their doing, and their baristas are really superb. Highly recommended. You can also buy beans on site (as well as many other coffee-related equipment and espresso machines)
