The Jazz Apple Cafe

A cupcake shop that just happens to serve coffee rather than a cafe that happens to sell cupcakes. The coffee here is ok, but the real star is their selection of awesome cupcakes!

To be fair I really shouldn't have got a mug - no one seems to be able to pull off a large well proportioned coffee - the aroma just wasn't there although I'm fairly confident a regular cup would have been quite good (which is what the score is based on).

As I mentioned at the start it is the cupcakes that really set this little cafe apart from the rest. I really like the denser cupcakes (almost friands) like the triple-choc and toffee vanilla.

The cafe itself is open, light and airy. It is a friendly place where you can not only hear yourself think but you can actually tell your friends about it without having to shout.

I will definately be back!
