Contests and Giveaways Terms & Conditions
1. You must be a registered user to enter. If you are not a registered user, click here to register
2. To go in the draw you must write a review on a cafe you have been to of 25 words or more.
3. One entry per person, per cafe. You may enter reviews on more than one cafe for multiple entries. False, fraudulent, or deceptive entries or acts will render entrant(s) and entries ineligible.
4. No responsibility is assumed by Beanhunter for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions (including inability to access the Beanhunter.com site) that may occur during the giveaway/contest.
5. Submissions must be received by 11:59:59 PM AEST on the last day of the stated time and date for the giveaway
6. Winner(s) will be selected at random by the Beanhunter.com staff and notified via e-mail
7. Selected winner(s) will have 7 days from delivery of winning e-mail notice(s) to confirm the winning(s). After seven days, new winner(s) will be selected by the Beanhunter.com staff
8. All items will be shipped at the expense of Beanhunter to the winners postal address confirmed via email.
9. Only Australian based users are eligible to enter.
10. Beanhunter will not be held responsible for lost/damaged items during shipping
11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received
12. Prizes are not redeemable for cash
13. Taxes on all prizes are the sole reponsibility of the winner(s)
14. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize(s) permitted, except that sponsors of contest reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is no longer available
15. Any entry information collected from the giveaway shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of the entry, with these Official Rules and consistent with Beanhunter’s Privacy Policy
16. By entering the giveaway, entrants consent to the use of their names, photographs, and related statements by Beanhunter in advertising, promotional materials, and on its website, throughout the world in perpetuity, without notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
17. By entering, the entrant waives all claim(s) for damages, losses, costs or expenses of any kind in relation to the contest/giveaway, and the entrant assumes all liability for injury or damage caused or alleged to be caused by participation in the contest/giveaway and/or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
18. Employees, officers, and members of Beanhunter (and their immediate family members – including parents, spouses, children, and siblings) are not eligible to participate or win.
19. Use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. For example entrants can not use a software program to submit reviews automatically.
20. If in the sole opinion of Beanhnuter, the giveaway is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud or technical failures or if anything corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this giveaway, Beanhunter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway or any portion thereof.
21. Beanhunter reserves the right to cancel or disqualify any entry found in violation of stated rules & guidelines
22. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules & guidelines and the decisions of the Beanhunter team – which are final and binding in all respects
23. Giveaway is void if it does not comply with the entrants State & Australian laws
24. Valid reviews submitted between 1st December 2009 9:00AM AEST to 31st January 2010 11:59PM AEST will be entered into this competition.
